Special protection
Under Admin → Users → person → Special working-time protection admins record a young worker (birth date), maternity protection (period) or severe disability (period, exemption from overtime on request, agreed extra days). These are health and age data (Art. 9 GDPR): stored encrypted, visible and changeable only to admins who manage the person, every view and change in the audit log without details, deleted two years after the protection ended.
- Young workers (JArbSchG): 8 hours a day (8.5 within 40 a week), breaks of 30/60 minutes beyond 4.5/6 hours, 12 hours of rest, no work between 8 pm and 6 am, five days a week, no Saturdays, Sundays or holidays; minimum vacation of 30/27/25 working days by age at the start of the year.
- Maternity protection (MuSchG): 8.5 hours a day (8 under 18), 90 hours in a double week (80 under 18), no work between 8 pm and 6 am, on Sundays or holidays.
- Severe disability (SGB IX): with exemption, no day beyond 8 hours (§ 207); extra vacation of one working week a year, a twelfth per month of the status (§ 208).
The time analysis, the weekly overview and the shift planner apply these rules too. Only admins see which rule and why; managers and auditors see only that a special rule was broken.
