Offline Clocking
In the basement, on the train, on site: clocking in and out also works without a connection. The app keeps the clocking on the device — with the time of the click — and sends it as soon as it is online again, at the latest when it is opened next. This works on iPhones too.
What it looks like
Section titled “What it looks like”- Clocking without a network shows the notice that the clocking is saved and will be synced once connected.
- The header shows how many clockings are waiting, with Send now.
- Once everything is sent, Klokk says so.
Late clockings
Section titled “Late clockings”A clocking that arrives more than five minutes after its time is treated like an entry added afterwards: it needs approval (or applies at once with auto-approval), and the audit log keeps both times. A clocking cannot be backdated unnoticed.
Clockings more than 24 hours old are no longer taken: the app shows “Stamp not accepted” with the reason. Add the time as an entry then.
Refused clockings
Section titled “Refused clockings”A clocking Klokk cannot take — for example because you clocked in on another device meanwhile, or the month is closed — shows as “Stamp not accepted” with its time and the reason, and no longer waits. Check your times under Time Tracking then.
